The audience of this particular ad is the group of people who were going to vote in this past election.
The tone of the text is aggressive because campaigning most ussually takes ana ggressive stance.
The text is trying to persuade the audience to vote for the person whose name is on the bumper sticker.
The Bush, Cheney ad uses ethos in appealing those who are patriotic by putting an American flag next to their names.
The purpose of the text is to try and persuade the voting class to vote for whomever's name is on that particular bumper sticker.
Personally, i do not find the text rhetorically effective, but it does get the name of the person running out in the open for viewers to see and posibly contemplate voting for them. This is somewhat effective because it makes you think about the person you are gonna vote for.
